The game randomly turns black and you can't exit out of certain doors.. The only thing I would change is giving it a speed option. Little slow for my taste. Good story, I love the narrators voice. I chose to play a Volva my first time around, despite reading that it was more challenging, I have no regrets. It's an interesting class for sure :).. I have no clue what happened to this game.it seemed so full of potential, but yet apparently was underwhelming.. If William Faulkner had been able to make video games, they would probably feel a lot like Winter Voices. Not without several technical difficulties, this is still one of the best games on Steam. It might even be one of the most interesting games ever made. You should buy it.. This game is quite different from the usual. It's a turn based RPG heavily focused in the story. The story can sometimes be quite confusing, as you play the role of a girl that lives as much in her dreams as she does in her real life. If you decide to embark in this journey, you'll find a moving and deep story that's totally worth it.I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and even if you're not too keen on the combat style there are a few posts in the boards with builds that make it a lot easier.So Winter Voices is not fast paced, action packed or modern looking, but for me the touching story is good enough that makes it up for it. With the game being free nowadays there is no excuse not to try it, imho.. Winter Voices is one of the few games I've played that takes a different route when it comes to the use of rpg mechanics. While the game plays fairly similar to other rpgs out there, however the mechanics within give this game a unique feel alongside it's gloomy, yet relatable story. You control a young woman who goes through her own thoughts and memories and instead of fighting, you defend yourseld with a variety of emotional and mental skills which can give different benefits to the character herself or her surroundings. While the game is heavily slow in pacing, it makes up for its mechanics which give this a game a interesting and emotional trip into the world of Winter Voices.. I bought it for the cards
